If my router is damaged or is not working,can I use my wi-fi laptop by any other means 0r by any attachment?

No you will need a new router.Happened to me only way to cure was a new router....try the Linksys-G its by cisco systems and is fast it works my desktop,latop and PDA. Best about it is the encryption on wireless you can find the wireless unless you have the specific code for it. Ive tried to break into with my wifi finder and it cant so I know that nobody can steal my files and stuff.

If your router isn't working then you need a new router. You could plug your laptop directly into your DSL or Cable modem with a CAT5 ethernet cable.

try to get it going
did you install the router install disk in your p c
you need to install the router modem and service provider in all units.
is it a wireless router

-Use it's LAN connector directly into the router.
-USB to LAN connector
-USB to wireless connector
- network with another working pc.
-coffeeshot/free access point
-new router
