You are normal. Enjoy this time. You have 40 years for a period. Some girls don't get their periods until they are 16. Don't worry.

I'm 13 and I haven't gotten mine. I don't think it's anything to worry about. I know twins that are fourteen and haven't gotten theirs...If you are worried ask your doctor. I asked mine and she told me to go to the endocrinologist since my mom started at my age, and I'm a mere 4'5 in height. Do you do any kind of sports? If so then that may be what's delaying it. Don't worry about it though! Other people are going through the exact same thing. It will come sooner or later don't worry!

no not at all, some of my friends didn't get theirs until like 14 or 15, but if you're 16 and u still haven't gotten it u should see a doctor

Most people get it around this time so don't worry. You're also probably just a late bloomer.
I know someone who got theirs when they were 17. It varies from person to person and depends on your body and if it's ready or not.

My advice to you is to sit down and talk to your mom about it if she doesn't already know, Don't be embarrassed, or afraid to talk to her, your mom should be your best friend when it comes to this. Your mom will probably tell you that some girls are just late bloomers and that everything will be OK. She might even suggest that both of you go to and talk to her gynecologist, And don't let your friends embarrass or make fun you for this either.

it's okay... some girls are late bloomers (like me). I had my period when i was 14. So, it's okay. . . the development of a woman is between 9-18 yrs. old. So, just wait for your time to bloo.

Yep you are totally fine! I didn't get it until I was 14 1/2. So I don't think you need to worry about it yet.

don't worry it's just not your time yet, you will get it in due time....just in case you are in a public place whenever it starts you should always carry a tampon or pad... You never know when the time may finally come... you definitely want to be prepared :)

No it's not weird.Everyone gets it at a different time it all depends on how active you are and your body.Be patient.Trust me when it comes you wont want it anymore.:)

No, I have lots of friends that havne't had their periods yet. (yea 13 year old girls)
