Everything is speculation right now, but one thing is pretty much granted. He is pretty much done with WWE. he has never been happy there, and was reported to be very outspoken on his last go around leading up to his final days. Before the one lone piece of information that came out saying Rob was not interested in TNA "at this time", everything pointed to him going to TNA. I don't think Rob will retire, he is only 36 years old and just needs his batteries recharged. However even if Rob does go to TNA don't look for him there anytime soon. He still has the no compete clause, and by all accounts want's to take some considerable time off to spend with his family and be away from wrestling. If Rob comes to TNA it will most likely be in the fall at the earliest, maybe even towards the end of the year or at the beginning of next year.

rvd is reportedly not very keen on wrestling for tna. the fact that sabu is going there might change his mind. rumor is he will only re sign with wwe if they allow him to work a part time schedule. fact is, the man has saved/invested his money wisely and has an eye towards retirement
