I always wanted to be a baseball player. I played 1 year in the minors until I blew out my left knee ( I was a catcher). So while it didn't happen for me, at least I got a chance.

always felt confident in writing and I got published. Now having 2nd manuscript proofed by fellow New Zealand author who says the story is good.
I'm also pursuing a journalism degree.
As a child I predicted I would'nt start acheiving till round 40.
I share that in common with many after much life experience but not fast enough for some.
But as Homer says 'What ya gonna do ?'

I remember just starting first grade, teacher asked us all what we wanted to be when we grew up. I didn't know, so I said "nurse" just because so many other girls said that. lol, I didn't even know what a nurse was! Today I am a respiratory therapist -- so not too far off course; but I never really wanted to be a nurse anyway.

yes, it surely did. when I was a kid I wasn't a dreamer, I was a doer, and still am. driven, skilled, just determined all around, I charged forward, leaving the rest miles behind. I am Mike Rosgen, video game designer.
