I'm not sure why mamas and papas should be avoided either, I had the pilko travel system for my first and have used it for my second its fab.
Out of the three you have listed, I prefer the Bebe comfort loola as it can be used in buggy mode facing you. The i candy looks quite heavy and i think the quinny (in pushchair mode) only has 2 seat settings sitting up or lying down nothing in between.
Good luck however if you haven`t quite made up your mind defiantly go and have a look at the mamas and papas website as they have a big variety of options on travel systems.

i am not sure why you should stay away from mamas and papas i have always had them. 2 plikos, a single aria, a double aria and now have the ziko so i would have a look on the site and if there is anything that takes your fancy,
if not the loola but thats pretty much the same as a pliko just
in crappy colours

I'm not sure on the prams, but please, please stay away from any pram made by mamas and papas! They aren't safe.
I think I saw the bebe loola yesterday, and loved that. Don't like the wheels on the quinny.
Good luck
