I think being raised by two gay men will greatly increase the likelihood that the child will also turn out gay.
Parents pass their own values on to their off-spring. Does anyone REALLY think that two gay men are going to be supportive of their "son" bringing a GIRL home someday; a girl with whom he has a sexual/love interest in??? Ain't gonna happen! He will be "groomed" and conditioned to mirror their OWN preferences and beliefs. Poor kid!

Well.... first, I somehow don't like the contrast between 'normal' and 'homosexual', since that would mean homosexuality is something abnormal.
And I don't think that it makes any difference, if a child becomes gay or heterosexual due to the parents. The only difference is, that IF the child was gay it would propably deal with that more frankly.
The: "Homosexual parents raise homosexual children" thing is wrong. Wouldn't that imply that heterosexual parents raise only straight children? If that was the case, there wouldn't be any homosexuals at all.

First I am gonna give kudos to that couple. As someone already said. Being gay is determined by genetics. Gay parents will be as good at raising a child as straight parents. The odds of that child growning up gay or straight is the same odds as if he were raised by straight parents.

A child's sexual orientation does not depend on the orientation of his or her parents; if it did, there would be very much fewer gay people in the world. If the child is going to be gay, it's going to be gay whoever it's parents are.
I applaud the Western Australian authorities for recognising this simple and obvious fact.

Why wouldn't the baby boy have a normal life? If you look through your local paper, or browse the Internet, you'll find that most (if not all) of the child abuse is administered by heterosexual couples.
Look....just look at who's doing all the child beating and neglecting of baby's and children...it heterosexual couples!
If only the world would give us a chance...a chance to prove our parenting skills.
Peace be unto you....-Vinny.

I don't believe the sexual orientation of the people who raise you has anything to do with your own sexual orientation. There are many heterosexual couples who have raised children who were gay. I don't think homosexuality, bisexuality or heterosexuality is something that can be influenced by external factors. I believe sexual orientation is innate. Oh, and homosexual people can have a "normal" life.

I served interior the militia with 2 youthful men who'd been observed as infants with the aid of a gay couple of guys. the two have been exemplary of their overall performance of their militia responsibilities, and one even earned the Silver megastar in conflict. So what's the pork approximately gay adoptions back?

the sexual orientation of a childs parents does not determine the childs sexual orientation when they become adults....if it did...heterosexual couples who have...or adopt children would never deal with thier child becoming possibly homosexual. The said child would always be hetero..no matter what.

I've known lots of gay male couples that have kids. Some of the kids grow up to be gay, but most of them don't. They are as well adjusted as any other kids. I don't see a problem with gay couples adopting at all

I think he will be whatever he is. There have been numerous studies done in regards to this subject and the percentages remain rather constant implying that parenting does not determine sexual identity.
