I have just purchased 3 weeks ago a Vento V Thunder 250cc and it looks like a Harley Hog (smaller vertion) Vento has been out for 10 years and not many people have heard of them. It is a beauitful motorcylce for a person who is learning. Tell me about your motorcycle? Don't you just love riding? It gives you Fredoom and spirit. Lol Lol i do love to ride.

A Triumph Sprint RS 955i, but I started on a Honda 125 twin, back in 1975, and 200,000 miles ago. The 125 was light, easy for a beginner.

The Vento does look Harley-like. Enjoy. When you've been riding a bit get some advanced training - it makes you safer, and you enjoy riding more.

I am one of the people who have never heard of the Vento but I'll look it up. I rode a Honda NS125 for a couple of years, great little bike. Went 2 weeks on £8 of petrol ($16 of gas :P) and that included long weekend rides. That was until my CBT ran out. CBT is a test you have to take that lets you ride up to a 125cc for a couple of years, to help you practice for the big test. I'm doin the test this summer and I'm either getting a CRB600 (sticking with the Honda) or a ZX600 Ninja, like my friend Mark, except his is a 900. 900! Who needs that kind of Power anyway?

That's a good looking motorcycle! This looks like a perfect candidate for a starter bike. I'm glad that you chose a cruiser rather than a crouch rocket. I ride a 1980 KZ1000 short chop as my main form of getting around. Custom frame ,tank fender ,sissy bar and so on. Good luck with your new ride and have fun!!!!!!!!!

i ride a tricked up 98 fireblade, light and insanely fast. but its not what you ride its how you ride the road. on a sunday ride out i may sit at 70 and cruise. occasionally i may be naughty and go over the limit but i know what the bike can hit topped out i dont need that speed. there is no such thing as a learner, we never stop learning and as a biker i hope you never stop. sadly bikers stop learning the day they take "that corner" too fast and get wiped out.
