He can win this election. In 1996 while running as a Congressman the GOP ran a high priced canndidate named Greg McGlaughlin who was endorsed by GWB, Newt Gingrinch, and many Republican leaders. The State of Texas was redistricted. Despite all these obstacles Ron Paul went on to beat Greg McGlaughlin in the primary and then beat the Democrat opponent in the general election and his democratic opponent used a vigorous attack over his views on the drug war. He is too smart, too principled, too honest, and too relentless to let any obstacles to get in his way. It's early in the campaign and when people start following the election he'll be a front runner. He just has to get his campaign funds to 10 million and that is all that is needed for him because he spends his money wisely and because he is princinpled.

I swore to never support a Republican or Democrat three years ago. Now I am giving my money and time to Ron Paul. I have never been this enthusiatic about any candidate ever.

Yeah this guy totaly surprises me!

Are we sure this guy is a republican? He seems to support that piece of paper they tore up called The Constitution. And he appears to want to end a few wars.

Umm so again are we sure Ron Paul is a republican? What blows me away even more is he's from Texas too! I didn't know good people even come out of that other country called Texas.

I'll admit this Ron Paul guy blows me away thats for sure! I didn't think any GOP even came close to thinking that way!!

Nope. I like Paul, but I cant support him...

Because he supports the ridiculous "Dont Ask, Dont Tell" policy, even though 70% of American soldiers say they have no problem serving with gays and lesbians in the military.

And because I dont agree with his stance on abortion.

And because I think most of his domestic policy ideas are silly. I agree that we can and should greatly reduce the size of government, but I think universal healthcare should be our number one goal right now, and Paul doesnt agree.

Seriously, the only two industrialized who dont provide healthcare to their citzens are the USA and South Africa...Thats pitiful!

I'm supporting former Senator Mike Gravel. The only candidate I can support without feeling like I'm choosing the lesser evil.

Yes I am!!!

People in this country have gotten so far away from what our Constitution means....and most don't even know what is in it.

Ron Paul wants to bring our country back to the way our forefathers meant it to be.

I support Ron Paul because I love my country. He is the best chance we have to being the great country that we once were.

Nope, he is a loser and a nut and I will be laughing my butt off when he falls flat on his face and all the Ron Paul supporters go crazy.

Of course he could always get a job on the Conspiracy/"truther" circuit. I am sure they can find space next to the Bigfoot speaker.

I'm all about Ron Paul. He's the only candidate I can respect as a person because he's the only one who respects the Constitutional rights of the people.

No body other than his Internet zombies are actually backing him. He has no chance at winning the Republican nomination. So even if you actually were a Democrat and not a Ron Paul crony you will not have a chance to vote for him other than the primary.

I'm not an American, so I couldn't vote for him anyway. But I do commend some of his ideas, like a limited role for federal government, non-intervention foreign policy and he always votes against everything that violates the constitution, including the Patriot Act.
