too. Is he saying Harold Shipman was a better man than a burger flipper? Why? Menial jobs are important in society so what's his problem? Does he hate street cleaners too? Doctors are human and just as likely to be evil or good as anyone in a low paid job. I am neither a burger bar employee or a doctor, just someone who thinks Piltdown Man is trying to cause friction where none is necessary. YA is supposed to be informative, not threatening and abusive. This is NOT a McCann issue so no tirades, please.

I asked that the "McCann" issue not be discussed. It is not relevant to my question which is "Why does he hate burger bar employees?". He is entitled to his opinion as much as anyone so why does he feel the need to abuse those who disagree with him?

Totally agree with you! I wonder what his views are on Harold Shipman? Was that persecution too because he was a doctor?
It's funny how he goes on about freedom of speech, but that doesnt count if you have an opposing view from his! I personally am sick of his abuse and his cut and paste answers.

I guess you have to respect people for what they achieve in life. If you see someone like Richard Branson who built up his own company from scratch and worked hard to do something with his life then you show respect. A burger bar employee is usually a student making a bit of cash to get through school or Uni or a person who is an underachiever. I agree no one should be mocked due to their occupation but I also think that people that work hard to succeed should be looked up to more than people who don't. You can't respect the people who fail to try as much as those that give it their all surely?

Piltdown Man is thousands of years old, therefore has a lot more experience and knowledge then anyone else on YA. He started out wearing animal skins and now wears a T shirt, that's how long he's been around. Show some respect

I have no opinion regard Pitdown man, that said do you not think that by posting this "question" you succeed in raising Pitdown mans profile and causing the very friction you accuse him of ?
Lastly asking other why Pitdown man does, or does not do anything is a bit pointless, given only he can answer that.
Lastly we all have our own thoughts about what constitutes threatening & abusive and as for informative, well the worlds your lobster !!

I have to agree with nmore's last paragraph. We can't all agree. Yes, Piltdown Man is very annoying, but then we just ignore it for the sake of peace. We shouldn't start a hate campaign, though that term is a bit strong, because we disagree. The world would be in riot if we did.

Ok.
The original PILTDOWN MAN, was a skeleton that was found early last century and seemed to be the 'Missing Link' in Darwin's theory of evolution.
HOWEVER, the Piltdown man's skeleton was actually a fake - a hoax.
So my theory is that Mr P, here on yahoo answers is a 'fake' too. Saying controversial things, with the sole purpose of winding people up and having a laugh at people's reaction to his statements.

I have not noticed Piltdown man's dislike of burger bar employees, his specialist subject appears to be defence of the McCanns. I agree that a burger flipper is considerably higher on the social scale than a person living on benefit.
While some of Piltdown Man's opinions are reasonable, he does appear to have a rather blinkered view of some subjects.
I wonder if there is a clue in the name that he chose - Piltdown Man, that was in fact a forgery. Maybe he is an agent provocateur.

because he is a moron. judging by the mcanns and harold shipman i can see why he is such a big fan, he obviously feels right at home with such "educated" people. people dont seem to understand that its the working class that keep this country going and make it what it is today, even in the most deprived areas the working class have community spirit and the middle class are egotistical, pompus and very often racist. i really dislike the middle class.
