That would really suck. I made sure I didn't get mine on my wedding night by starting a new pill pack immediately after finishing the previous one, without taking the week of placebo pills first. But don't worry too much, you just got married, so you have forever to "celebrate" with each other! Maybe you can just have him give you a massage instead or something. And maybe your period will be over by the time you're on your honeymoon? Good luck. Don't stress over what you can't change.

You can celebrate. We had the same problem. So we did it in the shower. (Plus, every man I know thinks that having sex in the shower is hot.) No mess. But remember you can still get pregnant while on your period, so use protection unless you want a little one alreay.

You got married today...why are you wasting time on the computer when you should be with you new husband...you can still have sex while on your period, put a towel under you and carry on...... you will just have a little clean up, but its all good.

Go get some "Instead" softcups...

Can I have sex with the INSTEAD® Softcup® in place?
Yes, you can have clean, comfortable sex with the INSTEAD® Softcup® in place. Although individual experience may vary, most likely neither you nor your partner will be able to feel the cup. To help avoid leakage on heavy flow days, insert a new cup immediately before intercourse. Remember that the INSTEAD® Softcup® is not a contraceptive and does not protect you from sexually transmitted infections

why can't you have sex???? sex during your period cuts down on cramping and lasts forever because you're naturally lubed. if you are afraid of a mess in the bed even with towels, move to the shower. it's very sexy.

You still can, just wash up after you are done.

Or if that is too nasty for you wait till its over.
