And yet they still pestered me if he was hot or not. I just said hes was alright. And they gave me a werid look, like wtf look. What the heck am I supposed to say. Hes hot? Or No?

They're trying to figure out if you're gay. Either that, or they're just busting your balls.

One can respond in many different ways. They can be sarcastic to the girls, be wishy-washy, indifferent, etc. It seems, with no disrespect, that they are questioning your sexuality. I happen to be the opposite of you. I am gay, but most (including some gay friends) don't see me as gay because I do not fit any of the typical molds. When a guy (straight or gay) asks if a woman is sexy, hot or so forth, I usually respond with what I feel/think, "She is pretty", "She has wonderful eyes", all of which is true.

For you, may I make a few suggestions. Next time a girl asks, reply with a question back such as "Why should I care?" Another is to flip to a picture of a woman you think is beautiful or mention one by name and state something like "Now ____ is sexy". Or, if one of the girls who is doing this is someone you think is attractive or beautiful, say something like "Personally, I rather be looking at you". Or be direct and simple, "No" and leave at that.

They are trying to figure out if you are gay in a very rude and demeaning way. Their assumption is that if you do not feel the guy on the magazine is hot than you are gay. So in order for them to leave you alone you would have to tell them that the guy on the cover is hot. Kids can be real jerks sometimes.

I wonder why they are questioning your orientation in the first place. Showing some sort of interest in SOMEONE of the opposite sex should help dispel any nasty rumors. Next time a girl puts you on the spot like that, you could try a more direct approach by asking her point blank what exactly is she getting at with the questions. Then explain politely that the man in the magazine looks just fine, but you are the wrong person to ask, because you are simply not interested in men!

Heh, well it really depends on how you want to handle it. Do you just want them to understand you're not gay? Do you want to scare them off?

If it was me, I would just tell them exactly what you got through saying here. Ask them "What the heck am I supposed to say, "He's hot?" And explain that you are not gay.

If that doesn't work and they still continue to pester you, play mind games with them because its obvious they aren't going to listen to reason. Have fun with it and give them sarcastic answers when they pester you.

I got that a few times because men in idaho don't have long hair or ever look like they clean their face. If you dress well and take care of yourself, ignorant people think their is something wrong. I would quickly put an end to it if I were you. It could damage your potential with the ladies if too many rumors get out. I did a few things and they all sort of worked collectively. You won't like it, but pick and chose. First, I started going out with someone. I didn't really like her, but I got her to pay for dinner a number of times to why not. Second, get in a fight that you can win for sure. Tough guys don't have a rep of being gay around here. Third, when someone calls you gay, shut them down in a mean and degrading way. I know it sucks, but it really works. Soon you can go back to being a nice person.

You should have compared him to a beautiful famous starlet.
Like...oh, he's almost as sexy looking as Jessica Alba!
That would shut em up.
It's OK "not to be gay".
It's OK to be "gay"
Don't worry bout it....-Vinny.

Tell them you don't judge guys, then look one of them up and down very sexually. They'll know you're not gay then, but they'll be pretty creeped out.

Wow, that's obnoxious. There really doesn't seem to be much you can say. If you really care what they think, then project to them what you want them to think of you. If you don't care, then just do your own thing. Whatever to them.
