Luckily, it is the same thing!
I wanted to be a scientist since eraly age, and I am a scientist! Among all our friends at Uni, I am one of the few who manages such career, so I consider myself lucky.
Moreover I love my job, the field of our research (cancer prevention) and my lab environment.
So , no they are not!
