(4 - (3/sqrt(x))/(4-(1/sqrt(x)) = ((4sqrt(x)-3)/x)/(4sqrt(x)-1)/x)
in the limit, this is (4sqrt(x)-3)/(4sqrt(x)-1) = -3/-1 = 3

The term k/root x can become much larger than 4, so the problem reduces to 3/root x divided by 1/root x. This looks like a limit of 3.
