Hi, im 32 weeks pregnant and my waters ruptured with a fare amount of blood wednesday.
The baby didnt come and im now home packing my hospital bag early, just in case. Scan shows baby is fine so its just a wait and see game now.
Anyone have any similar experiences to share with me please.

IF I NEEDED TO BE IN HOSPITAL I WOULD BE THERE WOULDNT I?
My waters broke, i also thought baby would HAVE to come but hospital informed me baby doesnt. The waters have replenished and i just have to wait and see.
I wasnt asking for advice... i was asking if anyone had the same experience ie to find out how their little one is etc?

Ah i agree with the other ladies i thought you should be in hospital?? i understand they would want to keep baby in there as long as poss cos hes not yet ready but...

If you suffer from preterm PROM, you'll probably need to stay in the hospital where you and your fetus can be monitored for signs of infection or labor. Your doctor will focus on preventing preterm delivery. You probably will be treated with antibiotics, which not only can prevent infection but also appear to help delay delivery and reduce the risk of respiratory distress and other serious complications in premature newborns. Your doctor may recommend treatment with corticosteroids as well.

My water didn't break on it's own. My doctor broke it at the hospital while I was in labor. I thought if your water had broke, then you should be in the hospital. You could risk infection at home. I don't know though, I'm not a doctor. Good luck!

My first baby did the same thing. Broke my water ( a trickle) then he rolled over and sealed it so I had to wait two more days before my water broke again. They put me on antibiotics and sent me home as well. My advice, walk your booty off. I promise it does help!! Also take a warm bath to relax. Good luck!! :)
