Learn to interpret information. What other people feed you may not be the total picture, may be jaded or biased.
What you learn from books may be obsolete, but a good start to the subject.
If you know what the subject entails and you know how to research information then you are truly on the way to learning.

i guess it means instead of teaching you thing, make your mind be able to figure them out itself
