If you have finished your three month prescription should you wait for your period to finish before starting to take the pill again

You take it just like you took it the other months - 21 days, 7 day break, 21 days, 7 day break...etc etc. If you're taking them continuously you can either keep taking them like that, or take a 7 day break, usually on a Sunday - different people have different opinions on what is "healthy" but you're doctor should give you directions.

You should state the brand of pill you are taking.

Just with every other pill, you should take one pill per day at the same time each day. Even if you do or do not have a period.

If your period is still going when your week of no pills or placebo are up go ahead and start the new pack. The new pack will cause the period to stop.
