Even if they do get O'neal their chances are extremely slim. And Bynum just doesn't look ready like Kobe doesn't look ready to play a team game.

They'll be a better contender with J. O'neal. Bynum still has a little way to come around.
But they still won't be favorites in the West at all.

I doubt it even with Oneal. Bynum at times looked good but he needs some work.

Sorry, I just don't see it. Kobe has that whole team demoralized and unless he straightens up his act--and maybe gets some therapy--I'm afraid the Lakers won't even make the playoffs.

o' neal is not going to go back to LA. The only way they are going to win the title is if they get Kobe some help and they need a decent big man. neither will happen because the Lakers have too many bad contracts
