Anthropology!
Philosophy is not a science. It is a forum for historians and religious softheads to debate what dead people meant when they said certain things. It's fun, and it gives you good fodder for tricking the ignorant into thinking you're sophisticated, but if you're serious about your future career take something useful.

If the college requires you to take one of those two classes then I would go for the philosophy if I were you. It's a critical thinking class & it will get you to delve deep into topics. You can later apply that towards your psychology career. I was a psychology major and that was what I was going to take as my extra class knowing that anthropology wouldn't interest me much. Hope this helps in your decision.

Because Psychology deals with so many intangibles,
I would go with anthropology which is so very ´rich' in
so many ways, tangibles the norm, although still due to
interpretations.
Philosophy is fascinating, the dilemma here is it is the king
of intangibles and may lead you to so many different roads
you might loose the key issue which would be to help your
patients.
Makes sense?

c'mon guys, philosophy and anthropology are the two main branches of psycology. I would go with philosiphy.
This particular study tends to go with the way the mind thinks, so it would probably be the best if you could only pick one.
(if u can, do both.)
