Would you give them a second chance?

No way! If someone cheats in a relationship that is a good sign that is time to move on. The goal is to be with someone you can't wait to come home to everyday and have children with right? Cheating doesn't fit into that picture. I have five great songs I'm thinking of about it. Send me your email and I'll send them to you if you like. Tough situation, I've been there. I think you should just have enough balls to end a relationship before you cheat. That is lame and immature in my opinion. So many good men out there looking for love, why waste your time? Hard I know because the familiar thing gets to be very comfortable and people don't like to be forced out of the comfort zone. It was shitty for him to cheat on you, don't accept it. Take some pride in yourself, and realize that what you want out of life is important.

Well first you have to realize what is the reason he cheated on you. Second you have to realize if you are ever going to be able to forgive him and specially forget the incident. Third, are you going to be able to trust him, if ya'll do stay in a relationship? Don't worry about what other people say about chesting guys, if you feel in your heart that you should give him a second chance then go for it!!!!

Well, I've been married for 27 years, so I think I would probably give him a second chance. But it is really hard to know what you would do unless you are in the situation. I know I would be mad and hurt, and he would have to earn back my trust.

**** no. If she breaks my trust once she has done it for life and there is no reason to stay in a relationship without trust. Every time she was out of my site I would wonder, every time she was late I would wonder, every time I called and she didn't answer I would wonder. There is no need in putting us through that and I have more respect for myself than to put up with that from anyone. I have never cheated on anyone and I expect the same in return.

Ultimately, I left them. But,because I loved them unconditionally, I gave them a second chance.

I would and did, and it was probably one of the better decisions I've made in my life. I felt like I shouldn't let her mistake ruin my daughter's and my life by splitting our family up. I guess the fact that she knew she'd done wrong and was sorry for her actions (and I believed her) played a big part in the decision.

no, i would have to leave the relationship. I dont think i could ever get over such a betrayal. It would be extremely difficult to look at that person in the eyes and trust a person who could disrespect me so terribly.

Once a cheater, always a cheater. Someone who is truly in love wouldn't even look at another person in that way, because when you love someone they fill the missing part of you, and you can't find that quality in anyone else.

(and I would leave them, immediately)

I did...and I have....took alot of crying and soul searching, but I couldn't leave. He means too much to me. She meant nothing to him. It still hurts ( It's been 3 years ) when I think about the whole thing. But, I know he's sorry and that he loves ME.
