You have to use the slope formula m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1). In this case, it would be (11-7)/(9-5) which equals 4/4, for a slope of 1.

Very easy
y2-y1
x2-x1

11-7 = 4
9-5= 4
4/4 is 1 so,
y -7 = 1(x-5)
y = x +5+7
y = x + 12
y = mx + b

Any way i don't know why i went this far but the slope is 1.

m = (11 - 7) / (9 - 5)
m = 4 / 4
m = 1

m = [y1-y2]/[x1-x2]
= 4 / 4
= 1

Is that alright?
