Well yeah ... I watch TV everyday without remote last year ... I had to stand up if I didn't want the channel ... well I thought of it as an exercise ... it was fine to me ... well it's in you if you wanted to buy a new one .. but if you don't you might wanna get used to the practice ... hehehehe

Hi Whiskey,

Of course you can't watch TV without a remote. You couldn't even turn it on.

well yeah just because your remotes not working doesnt mean you cant watch tv it just means you have to get your lazy butt up of the couch or the floor or where ever and change it yourself!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooo!
How would I skip all those commercials.
How could I mute the junk I don't want to hear.
How could I repeat parts that I couldn't hear the first time.

I'm extremely interactive with the tv/dvd/dvr. To take take away would give a very negative aspect to my experience.

depends on how far away the tv is.

if its in like three or four steps distance, than probly.

but if its like across the room. nah.
it would be too frustrating.

why do you only have one remote anyways?
