Ha! I should.
I was in London once and a bum (lots x lots of them there)
came up to me and asked me for a quid. I turned and approached him and asked him for one so I could buy some fries at pizza hut (they sell fries at pizza hut in London)
He thought I was crazy looking for fries and was offended that I asked him for money. He told me "Hey, I'm trying to work here"
I chased him for 3 blocks yelling for him to give me a pound he eventually ran away.
That was fun
Later that week I was jumped by 3 Nigerians pulling at my pockets and jacket. I darted to a bum a few feet away that had a crutch and took it from them, then turned and started swinging at the Nigerians. they ran. I turned back to the bum and thanked her for the use of her crutch. and paid her 20 (40$) quid for it. We sat talked for a while. She didn't need the crutch. she used it for sympathy. She said she usually makes around 150 quid a night. Thats 300$ a freaking night begging.
I do charge my friends for smokes. (usually) but there can be exceptions you know.
I've heard many of them say that the reason they bum smokes so they don't have to buy a pack. They say they smoke too much and if they bought a pack they'd smoke all of it.
Makes sense to me to charge them for it.

No I have never charged.Sometimes I will give them two.I know there are times when I was the BUM.So no I dont charge.I guess it is that way with anything from me.Just ask if there is a need.If I can help I will.

No I'll give a smoke up, If your stressing over the price of 1/20th of a pack, you shouldn't smoke.

I don't smoke but that seems like a good idea since cigerates are only what $8.00 now for one pk.

the other day i was volunteering with my friend downtown and it was hay st and its known for prostituting and this hobo came to us and asked us how old we were and then he walked away i guess he was cigs or our bodies!! if he had said anything i would have done something
