How do I enter friend codes in a pal pad?

Hey I got friend codes online but how do I enter them in my pal pad, how do I know if i even have a pal pad. WIFI is set up, and where does one get one if they don't have a pal pad? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Ok, go to key items and select your pal pad from there. Then check your code (your name) code. Then write it down for future reference. Then go to register friend code and input your friends name and their code and they'll be added (you can have up to 30)
