I really don't want to change the baptism date, but I also don't want to die of embarrassment. I am also afriad my baptism will be cancelled. Please help I don't know what to do.

The reason I want lds women to answer is because they happen to know more about what goes on and how an lds baptism works. Although if u are not lds and do happen to know how lds baptisms are conducted. Please feel free to answer.

In the LDS church you can't wear tampons unless you are married.

First there is nothing wrong with you using a tampon, I'm LDS and you can use them before you are married, so if that solves the problem great, if not I would ask whoever is over the baptism if you could possibly postpone it for a week of two, if they ask why reassure them you do want to get baptized but something has come up and it would be better if you could wait.
Hope this helps and congratulations on your baptism!

You practically bought your info correct - just a priest can baptize which is able to handiest occur if a male is sixteen years historic or extra. When anybody has been assembly with sister missionaries and feature permitted the gospel, have felt the Spirit, and feature determined to make the covenant of baptism, they're interviewed by way of anybody. If the man or woman is from a household that's already LDS, the bishop (the congregational chief) will interview them to be certain that they do have an affidavit, have not commented any sins, and they desire to be baptized then he's going to advise that they're baptized. If the man or woman isn't a household member of a LDS household, they'll more often than not have a missionary who has now not taught them, a bishop, stake president, or venture president interview them the identical means, if the whole thing is nice, they'll then be baptized. A means that I believe approximately men having the priesthood and the women now not is the truth that women are truthfully extra main on the planet, good now not extra main however participate in a better responsibility than men. They are capable to naked kids. Males aren't depended on with that excellent accountability. To permit men a risk to have a accountability and support others, they're furnished with the priesthood.

Just because your start date is the day of your baptism does not mean you will get it on that date, especially if you are not always regular.
You could either hope for the best and have it on that date, or change it to save you from a potentially embarrassing situation, or wear a tampon like the first answerer said.

I am with the others and don't understand why you have to be LDS to answer this question. Wear a tampon. Unless there is something I don't know about LDS and you are baptized naked or something (sorry but I honestly don't know but I doubt it. that is the only reason why I would think why you might think a tampon is out of the question)

I guess the only thing you can do is hope you get you period late.
If it's the first day, it's usually not a lot.
Sometimes your period stops for a little bit in cold water too. (At least mine does)
Good luck hun!
