After being told by one of my female friends that I am ugly, and she found me annoying, but still thought that I was an OK friend, I was wondering, are all females my age (15-16) shallow? Or just some? All the females that I know are only interested in looks, "does he have a 6-pack" "does he have blue eyes", yet none of them even dare to ask "is he funny" "is he fun to be with" "does he care about you?"....... Are all females this way? Or just ones that have not mentally matured yet?

.. people evolve throughout their lives, so don't judge them for life--based on what they are now, at sixteen. At sixteen, you were twelve only four years ago.
Don't judge, and most of all don't generalize. Just focus on your intellectual/emotional growth.

In most developed countries 16 is too young to really apreciate the finer things in life. Simply put a 16 year old have not lived long enough and have not suffered long enough to know what really is good for them. As you grow older the things that are important change. When I was 16 all I cared about was palying video games and girls. Now that I'm older errr oHH bad example. forget that part. What you have to know is that I look at people differently and appreciate people for different qualities. In order to have this appreciation I had to get bump in the head a few times by the wrong people. These 16 year old girls as well as the boys will go through these experience too and their view of the world will change. Well, at least for the mayority of people. Some people just never learn.

First off, SHE IS NOT A FRIEND.
But at least she was honest to you.
I'm not shallow,I don't look for the looks most of the time even though it's a good thing sometimes.
All girls that act like that are snobby little girls and 10-1, your firend isn't a very nice girl and most likely isnt hat pretty for calling someone ugly. Don't worry, you're not ugly even though I never saw you, people are jjst rude :]

Being a woman sucks. we've impossible standards to stay as much as. we are expected to be each and every thing. Cookie baking mothers with time for their toddlers yet who even have significant jobs that we commit ourselves to. we are expected to be difficult yet horny. Hardworking and elegant. sturdy yet no longer b!tchy. exceptionally and prepare, yet above being concerned what others think of approximately how we seem. My suggestion is to no longer be too apprehensive approximately what superficial issues you're judged on, and rather, concentration on being somebody with integrity. Then a minimum of, no remember what absolutely everyone else thinks of you, you haven't any longer compromised your self.

i personally do not consider myself shallow. To me personality is a biggie, and yes the looks help. If someone is the drop dead gorgeous and has the hugest ego or no fun to be around then the looks don't cut it. I like someone who is funny, sweet, and just fun to be with. He doesn't have to be drop dead gorgeous or anything like that. Just a person i enjoy spending time with.

Excuse me? most guys are the ones who aren't "mentally matured yet." They don't like girls unless they wear short skirts, low cut shirts. And no, not all girls are shallow

Wow. That girl is messed up.
I'm 15 and all of my friends and I never act that way.
The girl that you know must be really insecure, or trying to flirt with you in some weird way. Although, I really doubt that last one.
Good luck with her :]

It is absolutely immaturity. Combined with overblown estimation of their own worth.
