Peyton Manning is going to become one of the greatest QBs of all-time. Archie Manning was on the second tier (not elite but great), and Eli Manning is just an average and replaceable quarterback. It's Peyton, no argument.

Peyton, by a mile. Some would argue that Archie could have been better if he had a better team. But we'll never know.
The bottom line is Peyton has produced huge numbers and will end up being the greatest QB in the history of the game, if he continues to stay healthy.
Eli hasn't had enough time in the NFL to know if he's going to be the real deal. He put up huge college numbers but hasn't produced well in the NFL. This year doesn't look good without Tiki. And he's feuded with coaches, which is a bad sign.

You are kidding right? Although the sons may bookend the Father. Can't really tell who is better Archie or Eli so not sure which is the worst.
So Dan Marino had the best team in the NFL? He had NAME WRs, please remind me who they were if you can remember. Everyone agrees the Dolphins didn't run. So you are either saying he had a GREAT Defense, and they aren't remember for that, or he was a GREAT QB. So a GREAT QB doesn't need the help you are insisting that Archie needed. Well I'll wait to see how people talk their way around this one.

Impossible question to answer. If Peyton Manning played for those Saints teams that Archie did, wow! Peyton is a very very slow runner (Archie wasn't nearly as slow) and he'd of gotten molested. Eli Manning from what you saw in college wasn't that good. All the praise he got was from Peyton. Peyton was established when he said "Eli is the best Manning".
I BET ARCHIE FEELS LIKE AN IDIOT HIS SON DIDN'T GO TO SAN DIEGO. Trust me Phillip Rivers isn't God and yet was 14-2 last year. I think handing to a gentlemen LaDainian Tomlinson had a sliver to do with it????

Peyton will end up in the Hall of Fame. Archie was unlucky enough to have been drafted by the 'Aints. The book is still out on whether Eli will be a good quarterback, but he definitely is not as good as his brother.

Those of you who have never seen Archie play cannot understand the New Orleans Saints and the teams he played for back in the 70's.
Peyton could never be as good as his dad was on those teams. End of Story.
Archie Manning is the "ONLY PLAYER" to be named MVP for any conference from a losing team. He did so in 1978.
You have to have been a spectacular player and single handedly carry a franchise with "NO" supporting cast to carry a vote like that.
