NE-YO OR AKON? MY FAVORITE IS AKON BUT WHO`S YOURS?

They are two totally different people singing two totally different genres of music, so they're both really good and talented artists.

Akon is a good singer and has a very unique voice however, I think Ne-Yo is a way better singer and he is a great songwriter. His lyrics are so heart felt. You can relate to at least one of his songs. His songs are different and nobody has ever written songs like his before. Ne-Yo has written songs for almost everybody, even Akon. But after a while you kind of get tired of hearing Akon's voice on the radio. His voice gets annoying sometimes.

Ne-Yo. Although I looove Akon, I like Ne-Yo's music better.

Ne-Yo of course. But their styles are completely different to me. Akon is not a singer to me.

Oh Ne-Yo by far, he really good live too, not that I don't like Akon, but his voice is no match for Ne-Yo

Ne-Yo is better in my opinion..he has that "Michael Jackson" quality..Akon sounds like he is singing very nasal...quite annoying to say the least..I like more old school R&B..but out of all the newer cats I like Ne-YO

They both good. Akon has better dance/club friendly hits while Ne-yo is an true R&B crooner....

NE-YO for sure. because he can hit the high notes. akon can not. simple as that.
