...www.videoeta.com doesn't list a specific release date on "Grindhouse"; they only say "sometime in September".
...specifically (and obviously) knowledgeable on horror film releases, www.fangoria.com lists separate releases of "Planet Terror" and "Death Proof", again "sometime in September".
It WAS reported earlier, that the separate releases were supposed to contain the overseas versions of the films, with the missing reels reinserted, and the scratches, jump cuts and faux aged/worn film stock look, would be all cleaned up.
We "Grindhouse" fans can only hope that a super-wham-a-dyme special edition DVD of the theatrical version of the film, is still waiting in the wings, for eventual release; after all, this is the ONLY way to see the film, and the separate releases of "Planet Terror" and "Death Proof" can blow dog!!!
...for now, I guess we're gonna have to stay tuned!!!
