I need a map of the united states, one that labels the states and capitals ONLY! And I need it so that it says state names, not the CA the actual name. And I need it so that its printable.

If you print the ones called "Regions" they have the full names on them. I could not find one with the full names of both the state and capital on a map of the entire US that fits on a 8 1/2 by 11

It doesn't show the full state names. Perhaps you could use a graphics program or print out the names separately on labels.
The problem is those New England states. Rhode Island has such a long name and such a small area.

Did you search on the internet for it.
My toddler son has a wooden puzzle of exactly what your are wanting. I am sure there must be a similar map on the internet.
