Take along a family of fat people. They live for years. You will need to discard ethical issues such as cannibalism, however.
Seriously. Military rations are the way to go. Sterile, bland tasting -so you won't over eat, and last for years. But then, so will ordinary tinned food, if the tin isn't damaged. Vacuum packed beef jerkey strips keep for a long time, but provide only protein, really.
Your biggest problem is going to be vitamins, particularly Vit C. You may not be able to avoid taking some multivitamins, no matter what other food you take, the vitamins will deteriorate.

Well, if you are going to be taking vitamin supplements as well, candy bars would probably be best. Something like snickers, with lots of protein from nuts would be good. They have lots of calories, which is what you would be looking for in a survival situation. After months/years of nothing but candy, vitamins, and water you would probably start getting sick from lack of trace elements, but you'd still be alive.
MREs are a good choice as well. Much bulkier than candy, and lighter on calories per mass, but they contain many more nutrients. If you went with a combination of those 2 things, you would do pretty well.

There is no one food that meets this requirement. For one thing, the essentials of nutrition and vitamins will change from day to day depending on your own metabolism and changes in your activity.
Your best bets would be peanut butter, twinkies, baked beans, and a few hundred cans of Spam.

How about MREs? Meals Ready to Eat, otherwise known as Military rations. They're freeze dried (or something), last about forever, and come in complete meals from beef n' noodles to PB&J. Try a military surplus store in your area, or catalogs like Bud K, or websites such as usmilitarysurplus.com, campingsurvival.com, mrefoods.com, majorsurplusnsurvival.com

I'd stock about 300 boxes of cheerios in my bomb shelter personally.
Its got fat, carbs, fiber, protein, sodium, and vitamins! It just wouldn't be the same after the milk goes bad though =(

Powdered eggs, like the ones used at hospitals.
What are you preparing for?

I think I would want dried corn. Nutritionally, however, I think rice would be best.
