I have met some really wonderful friends on the internet. I have no fear that they may be something more or less than what they say they are because even in face-to-face situations you are likely to face the same thing. The internet is a wonderful means to create dialogue in a safe and secure way. It's easier for some to use this forum, especially if they are bashful or unable to converse due to one issue or another. I will give you a star only because you asked, but I do not see a fear factor in meeting people in any regard, whether in a bar, church, the grocery store, or on the net.

I agree 100%. The internet is facinating but you must use cation in who you talk with. There's a TON of fake people on the internet I mean think about it.. It's not that hard for someone to fake who they are over the internet, Its very simple, thats why its important to not believe everything you see.
