I mean, all these names they give them are wimpy!!!

Why not call it something like "BIG BERTHA"
or
"GONNA BLOW YOUR @$s OFF THE EARTH"
you know, something with a little more flare!!

"Don't have to go to work...what do you mean I have to use a vacation day?"
"Here comes the blue tarps"
"Home Depot now open 24/7"
Oh....I could keep going....hopefully they will stay away from us this year!!!

Once a devastating hurricane strikes its name is marred & takes a dive on the baby names lists. If they could be named after truly hated well-known people then Tom, Dick, Harry or Katrina won't be taboo anymore. For instance, "Hurricane Hitler", "Hurricane McVeigh", "Hurricane Hussein", "Hurricane Paris", "Hurricane Rosie", "Hurricane Trump", etc....okay, none of those names will be missed, they go along with tragedy.....

Well, I lived in Florida, and I agree. Francis and Jeanne were nothing, despite that Jeanne sounded like a name a fat woman would have. How about Terminator?

I know when the one called Wilma was coming, my husband was outside the front door calling "WILMA" in Fred's voice. The neighbors thought it was funny.

I agree, they should be named according to their intensity. The "big fricking storm heading this way for the ten millionth time this season" works for me.

As a person that lived through Katrina, Rita, Allison and others, we do need better names!

How about - "Houston, we have problem"

That would be a great one for Houston.
