Lives? They hardly even mention the show. This has been going on for years. I quit watching the Emmys for that reason. I watched tonight because I had heard they were up for some Emmys. The only thing I saw was Belle and Shawn presenting an award. This is weird. SOmething has got to be going on.

I don't think its because the show is bad. I know it was the most watched soap a year or two ago and it got nothing. I haven't seen the ratings recently. It's been around for over 40 yrs. If it was bad it wouldn't have been on so long.

I totally agree with you! DAYS has gotten the shaft for the past few years, so I haven't been watching either. I don't understand why because I absolutely love the show and I think that there are many fabulous actors/actresses on DAYS that get over-looked. Shame on whoever does the nominating!! Time to take a look at DAYS again!!

Honestly I think its because of the story lines. The writers arent doing the best job they could. Most other soaps deal with problems like some do in real life, while Days doesnt do that much. I love my Days and I would love to see them win some Emmys but the writers need to get on the ball!!!!!!

I think because of Marlena. She received awards in years past because she was a victom, Stephino pawn because of her beauty, victim that one time when she was held captive by that nutty women, the drama between Roman and John (love confusion), she does show her emotions. Keep in mind in November of every year at least two of the cast appears at the Jr's Executive Inn in Paducah Ky to support the Telethon on Stars

DOOL often gets left out for awards.I love the show,but I think there are too many storylines and characters on the show.It's hard to get an attachment to one character on DOOL,like it is on other soaps.
And I loved 'Belle's' dress she was wearing at the awards show,but I am absolutely certain that she is pregnant.

Apparently they're not good enough to be nominated. Nothing's going on except the writers aren't doing that good of a job or the actors aren't making it seem real.
