Well, I am frankly surprised that you did not!!!! The greedy medical community will only go into fields that makes them a boat load of money! You will not find them in rural areas or in lower paying medical fields, like family practice or internal med. So thank our US Physician and the great medical system we have. Besides, what makes you think that we have the best education or that foreign MDs are less educated???

I think you are totally inaccurate!

You can't practice without a license in any state!

The only time I remember Md's being hired without a license was at the VA. until they found many of them had malpractice judgments against them and had their license stripped. The VA now requires their physicians who are hired to be licensed and if in a specialty, board certified!.

I guess foreign Md.s who are not from here, and don't practice here would have no reason to get their license here!

The only others I can think of is interns!

Personally, I think you are all wet, but please show me some proof other than an accusation that I know is false!

Doctors who receive their medical training outside the US can practice in the US by completing certification by Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), completing a residency in the US or Canada, and obtaining a state medical license.

That is for sure, there is only one reason for that:
The U.S. does not allow foreigners to study medicine in the U.S.A excluding forensics and dentistry

Hope it answers your question
