I guess Spurs fans are boring too. Damn, not even a car turned over. Oh well I guess we're just not a classy as Detroit fans.

That's another reason I love this city. Even in '99, when the Spurs won their first championship, the big news was that I-37 was shut down because of people stopping to hug one another. The fans, just like the team, are a very classy lot.

The Spurs have been described as being Vanilla. Guess us law abiding fans are of the same flavor. I did hear a comment on TV by, I think, Magic Johnson, "If the Spurs are Vanilla, that is the flavor every coach in the league would like to have." See we kinda believe that being Vanilla ain't bad if it brings NBA titles and no jail time to anyone. Maybe some of the hoodlums from other rioting cities, Detroit, LA etc. should try vanilla. They might like it. We just don't want them in San Antonio to try it.

This is the not the first time that the spurs won an NBA
championship and to the people in San Antonio it was
expected. Maybe , if they lost the championship some
outcry or rioting could have happened because the team
was a sure winner.

Well, for one, Spurs fans are used to their team winning the title, anylike Detroit who couldn't even get past a very weak Cleveland team. Secondly, people from San Antonio have much more class than most people in NBA cities.

why would they do that. They should celebrate and tearing the town apart is not a way to celebrate for reasonable people.

Also those who did that are not fans but morons that takes advantage of situations just to earn a few bucks and give themselves a high.

Damn, we are boring. All we do is yell, cruise downtown, honk horns and give each other high fives.

I can't believe there was no rioting! We're not cool like Lakers fans. :)

San Antonio is a very boring city in a very boring state. What do you expect from them. Its probably too hot to act like that down there anyway.

for one, they play at the river walk; there is not much to do there; and they are boring;

they may sell out their games, but the inner youth can't cmprihend with the players there;

like detroit, boston, la, or Oakland (yeah like that will ever happen - if it does, hide for a long time)
