just curious... POKEMON DIAMOND RELATED?

Do you have to plug something into your router to trade pokemon with people around the world or do you just have to be in a house with a router? OR do you have to be right next to a router? PLEASE HELP ME!!!

You only need to be in an area where your ds can pick up the connection. As long as you are in range, you can be anywhere in your house.
