Because they can.
Evolution has selected for different mating rituals depending on the characteristics of the species. Reproduction ranges from do it yourself (hermaphrodites as in nematodes), drive by squirting (different aquatic species where sperm is shot near eggs that have been laid), cannibalistic (insects) and extended orgies (bonobos).
If the young are independent of the parents and are left to their own after birth, there is no long courtship or foreplay. In species where there is a long period of dependency for the young and long term pair bonding between mating partners, then it would be beneficial to keep the mating pair together until the young reaches maturity; alimony and child support being scarce in the wild.
It is a dangerous world and it is not a survival advantage to be caught with your pants down while predators are lurking. Most male mammals have a bone (ospenis) that is used for sex. It is extended to get the penis hard, quickly and can be retracted quickly after the payload has been delivered. Such quick matings are not that conducive to forming long term pair bonds so it is interesting that humans have lost the ospenis making it difficult to (intentionally) ejaculate on short notice. The drawback is that human mating now requires at least a dinner and a movie. Two drinks minimum.

Ejaculation can be considered premature when it occurs 30 seconds to 4 minutes into sex, depending on different cultures, countries and experts. Behavioural techniques can help you delay orgasm. Learn here https://tr.im/8anZh
These include the start-and-stop method and the squeeze technique. A combination of these techniques along with sexual counselling and medication (either using an anaesthetic cream or an oral tablet) is recommended.

The Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM IV) defines premature ejaculation as a persistent or recurrent ejaculation with minimal sexual stimulation before, on or shortly after penetration and before a person wishes. Wow, that’s not a sexy definition. Personally, I define it as you come quicker than you or your partner wants. Luckly this is a great solution for premature ejaculation https://tr.im/87cac

Because with animals (except for dolphins) its all about reproduction and not pleasure. So for the good of the species its best to get the job done as soon as possible and not waste time that could be used to find food or defend the population.
