No they didn't and it's a real shame! I hardly ever watched The View before until Rosie was on. The topics were great. The ratings went wild. The show itself should have one.

They should have stuck by Rosie! I feel as if you can't really express your beliefs in this country any longer without getting punished for them! The government is controlling the freedoms we once had and Freedom of Speech is one of them. The behavior of the government officials and all persons who support them are afraid of folks like Rosie. They are afraid that their dirty laundry will be aired and shown to the public.
The writers and producers should have stuck by Rosie. They allowed her to speak her mind and then turned on her. They enjoyed the high ratings the show got and didn't give a hoot how they received them. Rosie herself should have received an award. Remember that her views are her opinions. You do not have to agree with them. She should at least be admired for standing by her beliefs. Everyone is entitled to do the same! Intelligent folks will understand this and not dispute it. Unfortunately, the behaviors of many people in this country are grounds for questioning the intelligence of the citizens here.

The View still remain winless at the Emmy Awards. And that's how they deserve to go out. That Best Talk Show award went to Ellen DeGeneres, who deserves it.

I didn't watch it. I hope they didn't. What is the purpose of the view?
