Dear Mississippi Chick, God bless you, you sweetheart, my heart goes out to you for what you've experienced. I had a song in mind when I read the first line of your question, but the song I don't think can touch your pain. I am so sad about your losing your friend, and I know there is no earthly reason for that loss, but I pray someday you'll find the answer to that. I wish you peace, strength, and courage, keep your chin up and you can accomplish miracles. I'm sure your friend is looking down from heaven wishing you life's best.

Wow that's really horrible...I think I'd want to forget as much as I could about it....but you can try looking up the lyrics for Pearl Jam's song "Last Kiss"...it's about a car wreck in which one person dies and the other is left alive...

the only car wreck song I can think of at the moment is Last Kiss, covered by Pearl Jam some years back

Funny you should ask.
I am a retired musician and the song last kiss was one of my recordings.
I used to be an original member of Jay Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers.
Another one a little before that was Teen angel also tell laura I love her
I think the guy who sang them was Martin Denning

The only one I can think of is "Last Kiss" whatever version you choose. Pearl Jam's is great but I am more partial to the oldies' versions.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend and your accident.
God bless!

Well, I know Untitled by Simple Plan was created in collaboration with MADD, and it's basically just about killing someone in a drunken car accident, not neccessarily his/her friend.
