natosha c....you can be totally "bisexual" and monogamous at the same time. When I date a women or guy, I date strictly that women or guy. Anyone can fool around on a lover...you don't have to be "gay" to do that.
Maybe you're wanting to know if "bisexual" or "gay" men are more promiscuous, or somehow out-of-control when it comes to their sexuality?
Well, some are and some aren't...just like with 'heterosexuals".
To sum this up....NO...a gay man cannot go straight. A "bisexual" man cannot go straight per say. But you can choose to make a conscious decision to date a "single" person and be faithful.
Rather or not you'll be happy with the decision, is a totally different question.
Peace be with you..-Vinny.

I think that if their love is strong enough, he CAN change. The question is, can it be maintained indefinitely without him reverting back to his old ways eventually?

I'm not so sure you should bother with giving advice. If they love each other, nothing can keep them apart. Just be there for your friend and wish them well. Make sure she knows she always has a shoulder to cry on should things not quite pan out as she'd hoped! Be supportive of her, no matter what. She must really love the guy to be willing to take a chance on him.

You know what they say once your born gay your always that way.

He could be bisexual which means he could be in a monogomous relationship with your mom. I hope everything works out and they are happy together.

Its callede being bisexual a homosexual prefers the same sex as theirself and a hetersexual prefers the opposite sex. There isn't a dhange to go straight. You always have the tendencies. So once they have been with the other I don't think you can.Be a supportive friend.

First and foremost..

Don't ever EVER give advice unless she asked for it :)

Just listen to her, learn from her stories, study her man through the way she tells about him.

You may have your own opinion about her man but shtick it for the time being.. unless the relationship starts to get really destructive.

Can? Yes. It's uncommon, but he's saying he wants to do so. Most Gay men would rather chew glass.

Will he? Hard to tell. She needs to get to know him to find out if he's trustworthy.

He may be bisexual, and bisexuals are just as capable of monogamy as anyone else.

well if he wants to change his ways he can try...I've never seen anyone do it successfully..but if he thinks he can then more power to him. As long as he doesn't end up really hurting your friend--which is a very distinct possibility.

Anyone, gay or straight can be monogamous, BUT, the religions who claim to "rehabilitate" gays are fooling themselves. Homosexuality occurs in all parts of nature.
