it could be that the world truly is sinking and hopeless, and the 85% of souls who are not depressed just don't realize it and are living in a fantacy world.

Yes just today it happened to me. For a few minutes I lost control. Forgot about trouble and consequence and got verbally aggressive, just about to the point of hitting.
