I am a fifteen year old girl. I am a vegetarian...for breakfast I eat a bowl of Special K cereal with skim milk, after that I run a mile and do crunches, sit ups, leg lifts, and push ups. for lunch I usually have a veggie sandwich. for dinner I usually have two tacos with black beans and cheese and salsa (on soft corn tortillas). All I drink is water with my meals. My only snack the whole day is a nonfat iced tall caramel macciato at Starbucks which is 140 calories and about a cup of fresh blue berries. I have not had a soda or sweet tea in a year. Am I healthy? what else can I do to be healthier?

Your doing great. You are exercising as well as watching what you eat. The only thing I would suggest is to eat more vegies in your tacos and add some fruits to your snack time.Fruits and vegies don`t add a lot of calories but you get a load of nutrients from them that a growing body needs. I am also a vegetarian and try to do the right thing by watching what I eat. Keep up the good work.

Look, if there are healthful ideas you're going to have healthful peers. If you might have healthful peers you're going to have healthful ideas. One follows the an additional. If any person says phrases of warmness then my middle (my emotional brain) feels well, however my brain says some thing someplace is mistaken when you consider that no person can say phrases of warmness to humans like me. Its no longer my predicament however I do not show my individual, so theres rarely any person who comes to understand a lot approximately me. And folks that realize will choose silence or a small smile to make me consider well. :)

You need more protein or you will loose muscle mass.
Try peanut butter.
You also need more dairy products for your bones. Drink milk with your meals and water in between. Make sure you are getting the calories you need everyday for your age, your body is still growing.

You must be anemic now. Please take a blood test. Just kidding...............

At this age, you should eat lot of food and play a lot. Looks like you work out more and not eat adequately. In your teens you need to play a lot and not work out now itself.
