It is interesting. At one time in a by gone era Pink was the color for men and blue was the color for girls.
Now the color had reversed.
I would go with the current trend. You are going to make an impression on a potential employer. Everything from the way you cut your hair to the way you dress to the way you talk to the way you handle yourself will be considered....
Most potential bosses are fairly conservative. But if you want your suit to make an impression... just be ready for the type of impression you will make.

not a pink suit, but for some reason, some of the pink dress shirts look surprizingly decent with a nice suit.... and guys used to wear those shirts a lot back in the 60's even
