I worked at a gay bar, and I am straight. I don't see much difference, it's just a job.

Only if you're actually willing to work there.
But, really, what's the big deal? When I work at a bank, I wear a suit & tie, when I work at a computer company, I wear jeans & tee shirt. So, no taking the Lord's name in vain or anything like that while on the clock. Same basic thing. You moderate your behavior to suit the environment where you work.

Well the problem would be if someone needed help finding something and you have no clue what they are talking about as an atheist.

Good luck with that. It would be weird but it might also be kinda cool and you could make fun of the people with your other friends. Hey, it's a job right, as long as you get paid.

at least you believe in something.........one way or the other....
many fundamentalists believe in everything that the almighty allegedly tells them without a shred of proof......
agnostics..like myself "want" to see a shred of proof but figger it will never happen..but like so many...we keep hanging on...........
its a no win situation for me..........
maybe i'll make up my mind on the eigth day...........
