I tried to post a comment in a online newspaper today in response to an article saying that the concern about loss of freedom is a lot of left wing scare tactics. Guess what - thats right, not published, while about 20 comments in support of the article were (Herald Sun, Melbourne Australia)

Dont infringe on my Right to be Stupid

You know it kinda reminds me of this joker chess buddy of mine. I was rated about 2120 USCF, he was around 1340 USCF. He would watch me play casual games against other tournament players, and always felt the need to talk about what moves were mistakes and offer advice, etc. to us. HAHAHAHAHA.
Thankfully in a tournament I can make my own decision about what moves to make and not cater to the whims of patzers.

Freedom is a buzz word. It doesn't really exist. Just try studying quantum mechanics & convince yourself that you have free will... it's not possible. the doubt is always there.

"Nobody is free when others are oppressed"

It's a bumper sticker... but a poignant bumper sticker.

If you check history you find that even more extreme measures have been taken in both the Civil war and WW2.

Y/A sure likes to take away freedom. They won't post any question that criticises them. And whay are they POSTING my question? Asked this question TWICE and they refuse to post it! I asked "Are you sick of all the new ads in your Yahoo email and on Y/A?"

It's in my profile--feel free to answer!!!
