When I go to some websites, when I click back, it doesn't let me but it just reloads that same site. I could escape by clicking home or back two, three times but I was just wondering why that is?

Computer experts please answer with some detailed answer.

Some websites utilize a "page flow" to control the flow of pages in a logical sequence. An example could be purchasing tickets for a movie. When you first access the site, you establish a "session" with the server. The session will maintain data related with that page flow so it can be used through the whole sequence. Sometimes hitting the back button will try to go back to the last page but it will find that all the data in the session for that page is complete and move you forward.
