Yes they definitely are! The loss of the mucus plug, the contractions, I'd say bubby is on its way. Have your waters broken yet? Mine didn't until ruptured by the doc, five minutes before I delivered my first.
If you like warm showers, try that, concentrating the flow onto your middle back. Hot packs may be of help too, as can GENTLE massages. The tightness on your inner thigh is probably the baby's head descending, so I'd give your hospital, or birthing assistant a call. Worthwhile checking.
Good luck, and safe delivery!

Sorry but there really isn't any easy answer to this, we have all gone through the same thing as you are going through. Maybe have your husband give you some nice back rubs while you lay on your side, as that may help you to feel some what better.

But for the most part just try to relax as much as you can, and get plenty of rest/sleep where you can. And take good care of your self, as I said there isn't very much you can do until the baby comes.

God bless you and your new baby to be, feel better. Have your husband give you some back rubs and see if that help you a little at least.

I was in labor for 3 weeks with my first son. As long as everything is fine at your doc visits, just hang in there!

You may be in slow labor, but you know when to go into the hospital, if your water breaks or if your contractons are 5 min apart for 2 hours.

You could very well be in early labor. Try getting your hubby/boyfriend to massage your lower back for you. Also try a warm bath if your water hasn't broken. You might want to call the doctor and tell him/her all those symptoms. He/She might want you to go get checked to see if you have dilated anymore. Good luck and congrats!

yeah it could be.if you already lost your plug, you should go to the doctor.the fact that the baby is moving less could mean the baby is in distress.
