wow! It really comes down to being cheaper to fly & get a hotel. Thank you all for the insight.
We were considering renting one for a cross country trip.

Normally 100 gallons, I have a Marathon coach, fuel capacity is 200 gallons, I average about 9 per gallon. However as the old addage says if you have to worry about the price of fuel that goes in your Coach, Park it your going broke/.

I would put the average at about 100 gallons, Small RVs (van conversions) hold about 30 and go up to the Million dollar Prevost which has 232 gallon capacity.
