depends on the storyline. the time I remember crying the most was in '94 and '95 when GH aired not one, but two, heartbreaking stories...Stone's death from AIDS and BJ's death which gave Maxie her heart.

Must admit once or twice but not in a long while: Lori (sonny's angel) has it on the mark. I am not ashamed to admit I cried when BJ on General Hospital died.


(And BTW last year when "her father" Tony died would it have killed GH (which has and has had ghost on before) to show Tony walking off holding hands with BJ and her mother Tania?)

i hate to say it but...yes. i cried while i was watching "days of our lives." when hope cried her butt off when she found out her son zack had died because chelsea killed him with bo's suv. i also cried when i watched the episode of passions (when everyone happened to be in rome at the same time) and theresa cried her a.ss off telling ethan she was giving up on him. yeah yeah i know. pretty stinken stupid. =/ haha.

oOoOoH i also cried when i used to watch "EL CLON"
(it's a 'soap opera' in spanish, by far the BEST i've ever seen)

I am a straight guy, but some really sad and depressing ones do tend to make me cry a little.

I yell & laugh, but no crying...uh i dont watch no soaps i thought you were talking about war movies...lol

sometimes. especially the dying scenes. that shows that they are really doing their parts good. shows how real life soaps can truely be.

yeah , once in a while - but mostly laugh....
i think it's usually sappy lovesongs that are the kickers for me.
I don't get too sad when characters die ....because they never really do ....

Sometimes they do.When Devon from the Y&R lost his hearing,that was a tearjerker.
