If you go to Hawaii, they have really nice people there. We wanted to bring some mangos to the homeland, but they said no but instead of making us throw it out, he said we could finish it before we went into the terminal

Yes I have.

Of all the countries I've been to, I'd have to say Canada has the most professional and courteous customs officials. They're mindful of your packed clothing and they keep the intrusion's minimal.

Mexico, forget it. I've only been through their customs twice, but both times they trashed my bags and got nosey with my writing pads and letters. And they were slower than sap in winter.

United States is hit or miss for me. Most times it's uneventful, but once in a while you come across some homeland security jerk, who acts like your Dr.Evil in a Mike Meyers movie. Must be a power trip thing or something, I don't know.

Yes, coming home from Taiwan with my best friend.

We choose to stay in the country longer then our team (dragon boat) so we had all of our uniform with us. They pulled out the "spandex" bottom and thongs looked at each other and then looked us up and down. We all began to laugh.

Nobody could understand what the other person was trying to say and we were soooo overly tired that pretty soon everyone around us was laughing. As they examined our passports we posed like our photo's (not very attractive) and starting getting the giggles again. Lots of fun for having all your property searched.

Most certainly....once so far. She was retiring the very next day & looking to spend time with her grandkids, perhaps have another baby of her own & get off her feet!
